Assess the issue, explain the proposed intervention and agree chargeable repairs before proceeding.
03
Parts & warranty coordination
Identify the required parts and coordinate the applicable supplier or warranty process.
04
Reports & follow-up
Record findings, work completed and open actions so the next visit starts with context.
Inspection of installed piping, insulation, supports, drains and accessible connections.
Leak investigation, mechanical rectification and checks of agreed pumps, valves and ancillary components.
Coordination with the equipment supplier for specialist plant servicing and warranty work.
Maintenance agreements & coverage
MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS
Clear coverage. Clear accountability.
The service agreement turns the maintenance requirement into a practical schedule and a defined commercial scope.
Planned maintenance
A scheduled programme of equipment visits, preventive tasks, condition reporting and follow-up recommendations. Corrective repairs and parts are quoted separately unless expressly included.
Maintenance with repair coverage
A tailored agreement combining planned visits with defined corrective labour and selected parts or consumables. Included assets, limits, exclusions and approval thresholds are listed explicitly.
Agreed before service begins
Covered equipment • Visit frequency • Service hours • Response targets • Included labour and parts • Testing scope • Access and shutdown arrangements • Reporting • Commercial terms
Response targets and restoration times are different: diagnosis, access and spare-parts availability can affect completion. Attendance, out-of-hours support and specialist testing are confirmed in the agreement.
Frequently asked questions
PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before you choose a maintenance agreement.
Does maintenance replace the equipment warranty?
No. The warranty covers eligible defects under the supply terms. Maintenance covers the agreed servicing tasks. Wear items, consumables, misuse and external causes are treated according to the applicable contract and warranty terms.
How often will equipment be serviced?
Frequency follows the manufacturer’s instructions, operating duty, site conditions and agreed requirements. A generator used for several hours every day needs a schedule linked to actual running hours, not only occasional standby inspections.
Are all spare parts included or held in stock?
Parts coverage is specified in the agreement. Availability and delivery time are confirmed when a part is identified; a recommended site stock can be agreed for critical components and routine consumables.
Can you maintain equipment supplied by others?
Our primary commitment is to Mosaic MEP-supplied systems. Other equipment is considered after a technical assessment of condition, documentation, parts access and the skills required, followed by a separate scope agreement.
How are urgent faults handled?
Contract customers use the service contacts and escalation route agreed at handover. Service hours and response targets are contract-specific. An email inquiry is not an emergency dispatch channel; immediate hazards should be handled through the site’s emergency procedure.
